Of course I love this. And dogs. There is a huge hole in my heart that I can't really have a dog now, for a few reasons. But I delighted in spending several days visiting friends in Santa Fe who have a very poodle-forward goldendoodle and were fostering a very large blonde sweet dog. And of course I loved, loved, loved the picture with you and my favorite, Prof. Wiggles.

And I have loved every class I've taken with you, so there, whoever dissed you. As a teacher and a coach I learned that I wasn't the right person for everyone. It was probably a mismatch, that's all.

Thank you so much, Meryl! I know we share a doggie love. Today I headed out walking the three dogs, wearing a "Dog Mom" t-shirt, a hat with dogs on it, and a pair of shorts printed with pugs. I thought, "I have risen to the level of a true eccentric!" And thank you for the kind words about the classes! I truly love doing them, and I know you can't please all the people all the time, but you know how the brain clings to any negative feedback. I so appreciate the positive feedback to counter those dark inner voices! Much love, T

Dear Tanya -- your deep sensitivity and talent to express it are a gift to this world and peacemaking powers.

The photos you chose are exquisite visual expressions of your message. The one of you and Professor Wiggles shows your hand and his paw -- two species -- sharing love.

Reminds me of book An Immense World by Ed Yong that compares the sensory world of the dog to that of the human. The dog's smell sense reality, one of 2 (?) colors and no edges. The human's sensory visual reality, one of many colors and edges. Yet we reach through these separate very different perceptions of reality and we love each other.

Yes, to your point, we want homo sapiens to do this for one another.

Thank you so much, Sharon. It always fascinates me the way they experience the world through smell. Wouldn't it be amazing if we could get the information they do through the sense of smell, even for a moment? To know what that is like? And yes—I am so grateful that we have the opportunity to connect with them in this deep way that goes beyond words. ❤️

"...many people love to live with animals because they model the quality of just being, wordlessly awakening the same being in us through sympathetic resonance." -Rupert Spira

I tenderly recall my big brown tabby cat Willie lying on my chest while I read (or tried to) on the couch. He would put his paw on my chin, and insist on sharing some telepathic moments together by gazing upon my face with his gorgeous yellow eyes. Oof, I miss that big guy.

Oh, so sweet. Yes, they communicate so deeply without words. Even for those of us who love words, there's a relief in that! ❤️

I love this so much and feel quite the same way about my cat Crowley. 💗 Who could possibly not like your class?! You’re so wonderful and thoughtful with everything you do; it makes this hard to believe. I suspect it has more to do with them than you, especially since they felt the need to be unkind in the way they told you. You’re amazing, Tanya.
